The long drives, stuffed in the back seat of our Pink Rambler, in between two sisters is where I learned the art of throwing daggers with my eyes and how many songs can be sung with words like 'this' and 'that', causing the tongue to shoot in the direction of whichever sister you were mad at the time with. All the while, having an excuse in the lyrics of the song. All that, and plethora more...

Have you ever felt like the loneliest person on earth?
Have you ever felt like shouting your heart out?
Have you ever wanted to take a break from this world? Stop the time, take a deep breath and start everything fresh?
Have you ever felt that you just couldn't go on anymore?
Have you ever dreamt of a friend and woke up just to find that your pillow's wet and your eyes are red?
Have you ever wished it was the end of the world?
Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?
Have you ever been afraid of losing the only person who has listened to what you had to say and had offered his hand to help you?
Have you ever found yourself in an endless maze of confusion?
Have you ever been tired of who you are?
Have you ever missed someone beyond imagination?
Has your heart ever been shattered into a thousand pieces and just when you were collecting and recovering the last pieces one of them cuts through your hand, your almost recovered heart falls, and it breaks again?

To all those questions : Yes. Yes.And Yes again....But then, i think of those more unfortunate than I, count my blessings, think of the instances of warmth the family shared and then, the clouds scatter and its sunshine time again !......how come women anywhere on earth feel the same ? ! :-) - Regards.
ReplyDeleteInteresting isn't it, that here we are, miles apart, living different lives and yet we have shared feelings.
