Differences

Life through peoples eyes is usually seen differently.

hmmm

bummer sometimes.

Sometimes I
WISH
WISH
WISH
others could see what I see.
Then, just maybe then they would understand where I am coming from.

oh bother

Here is a true story:

Five children living in the same home. Each raised by the same set of parents. Each one loved or unloved equally.

Each one see that common world through much different eyes.

One, the oldest, as an adult horded. Their garage and storage closets are filled with cases of random may never use this or that but it's my stuff.

The next one, in the order of age, holds one hand up in rebellion against 'the man' and 'the stuff' yet with the other hand points proudly at all the stuff they have.

Moving on to the middle child, who since birth, made no excuses for wanting it all, continues even now with their foot stomping, arm crossed, I want it and I want it now attitude. Just so happens that person does have it all but is discontent with their life.

Winding down to the next to the last child who wants but makes the best of what they have.

Last of all, the baby in the family, never cared about 'the stuff'. As long as peanut butter and school were going to be part of their day, as long as a hug or four or five hugs were freely given, life was complete. It was all good.
