The long drives, stuffed in the back seat of our Pink Rambler, in between two sisters is where I learned the art of throwing daggers with my eyes and how many songs can be sung with words like 'this' and 'that', causing the tongue to shoot in the direction of whichever sister you were mad at the time with. All the while, having an excuse in the lyrics of the song. All that, and plethora more...

God Was Everywhere
I walked along one of the paths at the park to take a closer view of the Narrows Bridge. God was everywhere. In the wind. In the trees. In the insects. And I saw and felt Him in the smiles and hearts of those who walked along the park trails.
I am amazed...again.
Then I saw it. I stood on a trail that ended at a steep cliff leading down to the waters that run under the Narrows Bridge. A strong but narrow 2 foot wire fence was set in place. What would that hold back I thought. If I were in need of safety and protection that would not do. The fence had not been taken care of and was smashed down from most likely others like me, seeking a view of the beauty from the edge of that hill.
That was a symbol to me of everything that God is not.
He is more than sufficient for me and you too! He is my protector. He cares for me and tends to my needs. He is the lifter of my head.
I can't help it. I am inspired by so much of what is in this world. There isn't anywhere I travel where I can't see, hear or feel Gods work and His presence.
Try it sometime.
